2014 Reading List

I’ve set a pretty big goal this year for reading. I challenged myself to read 75 books in 2014. I’ve also chosen to read a variety of not so big books, and ginormous books. The list is in no specific order other than series do appear in order. Some will be a re-read while others will be new reads.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire


I went to see Catching Fire on Black Friday with family. Having disliked the series so much, and not really having thought the first movie was slightly better than the book, I didn’t hold too much hope for this movie. Sadly I found this movie to be sub-par to the already bad book.

The Hunger Games Trilogy

I’ve been pondering for the last week on how to do my review of the second movie of the hunger games trilogy Catching Fire. I feel I need to post my review for the books first, as I need to separate the books from the movies.

I tried reading The Hunger Games book when it first came out, it is so poorly written in my opinion that I didn’t get past her first chapter in my first attempt.
